
Simple truth, Satan does not want to relinquish his property. Those who are in absolute darkness repel against anything associated with God, and will seek to avoid Him at any cost-including reading content such as this. He also brought me out into a broad place He delivered me because He delighted in me.” Psalm 18:16-19 If you are reading this text, your life has been (or is being) touched by God. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my support. He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me. “He sent from above, He took me He drew me out of many waters. But rather, we were chosen because of something in the innermost part of our heart and soul which only God can see. But what’s more, we were not chosen because of what we had done or what we could do. However, something began to change deep within our heart and soul-as God called us from darkness into light, and illuminated truth so that we could see. For those who are saved by God’s grace can attest we were dying in the midst of darkness and lies bound by sin unable to truly see ourselves and others, and was seeking any and all means to fulfill needs and the lust of our flesh. The above scenario depicts spiritual darkness. So, as you move around you continually try to figure out what’s going on around you, and do your best to survive and fulfill your needs. All you can do is rely upon your senses of touch, sound and smell-plus emotions, mind and memory. Consider for a moment what it is like when you are in absolute darkness-when you can’t even see your hand in front of your face and those around you. What’s more, our miraculous transition from darkness and death into light and life compels us to praise and proclaim His grace, His love, and His Son to anyone who will listen.

All revelations of His existence and our desire to know Him did not initiate because of our own will-but because of His desire for us-for He called us out of darkness and into His truth-revealing light. “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9 The wonderous, glorious and life-changing truth: Christians who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord were chosen and called by God. “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:44).

Jesus said “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you” (John 15:16).
